Brian Marshall is a photographer and geochemist, recently retired from a 35-year career with the U.S. Geological Survey. Having accumulated thousands of slides over the years, he has devised the best scanning procedures for preserving memories from mounted slide film. Various scanning resolutions can be requested for slides and other films and photographs, including archival quality and accurate color reproduction.

Based on his extensive experience in working under various quality management systems in order to satisfy stakeholder requirements, as well as developing protocols and procedures for geochemistry laboratory operations, Brian offers his expertise for writing and reviewing non-regulatory QA manuals and requirement documents. His expertise in integrating laboratory information management systems (LIMS) with quality control and assurance requirements and developing databases for document control and problem reporting can be applied to helping your laboratory improve practices and documentation.
